2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe In Montreal

Unveiled in Detroit last year, the Cadillac ATS coupe is finally available. This coupe boasts a well designed chassis clothed in classic bodywork. With a near 50/50 weight distribution, the elegant coupe can hold its own against its European counterparts on any road. The powertrain however misses the mark set by the Europeans by only a small margin. The somewhat peaky 272 horsepower turbocharged four cylinder may steer some customers toward the smoother V6 with near identical fuel consumption, while traditionalists will be disappointed to hear that the six-speed manual transmission is only available with the four cylinder. The all-wheel drive version comes with four or six cylinder engines but only with the six-speed automatic, it is however the more interesting version for our market. Inside, luxury and high quality materials abound and the ubiquitous CUE system is standard, while a 4G connection is also available. Automatically controlled suspension, Brembo brakes and a manual gearbox: Cadillac is undoubtedly evolving in the right direction.
