The First Sketches Of The Porsche Cayman GT4… In A Mobile Game

We are eagerly awaiting the Porsche Cayman GT4, which the manufacturer involuntarily announced last October. This model should sit above the recently-unveiled GTS, both performance and price-wise, and should be a track-focused, barely road-legal car (much like the GT3 variant of its big brother, the 911).

The development of this coupe is one of Germany’s worst-kept secrets; we have seen test cars on various racetracks, prototypes running around the Nurburgring with various aerodynamic packages and heard rumours about what engine would sit behind its seats.

The first official announcement of the Cayman GT4 was just made, and instead of using official channels, the manufacturer decided to go with a digital release: it seems that players of the Real Racing 3 video game (a racing ‘’simulator’’ published by Electronic Arts) will be able to drive the all-new Cayman shortly.

We still don’t know much about this upcoming car, but if it IS the GT4, we can expect a more aggressive front bumper with a lower lip, an adjustable rear wing, high-performance brakes and a wheel-and-tire combo that is more appropriate for track use. As far as the engine goes, we will have to wait for the official announcement.
