How Much For A Fiat 500X?

First presented a few months ago, the Fiat 500X is already making waves in the automotive world. The compact SUV, which is based on the new small-wide archictecture (also used by the Jeep Renegade) will enter the arena against a slew of new models, like the Honda HR-V, Jeep Renegade and Mazda CX-3, among others.

We're following this new segment attentively. Compact SUVs offer a great compromise between the height of a truck and the size of a compact car, they can haul people and cargo easily and they feature frugal powertrains. And because the segment features only brand-new vehicles; there is no established figure.

The thing that can make or break these vehicles is the price. If they are too expensive, no one will want them.

This is why we are relieved to see that the 500X will start at $21,495 for the Pop version. The Sport trim will be $25,995, and will be available with AWD for $3,185 more. At the top of the range sits the Trekking AWD model, available for $32,690.

These prices slot the Fiat 500X just above the Jeep Renegade, with which it shares its chassis and powertrain.
