Here Is The New 2016 Hyundai Tucson

As a preview of the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show, Hyundai revealed the first pictures of their all-new Tuscon, which will replace the model that we have seen in dealerships since 2009. The small vehicle is well-loved by the public, so the brand’s stylists have made sure that the vehicle will continue to sell well.

First of all, the style is all-new. We see a new, more angular fascia, LED-infused headlights, pointy fog lights and a more muscular stance. The profile is more angular, and it’s easy to see that the designers wanted to give the Tucson a more dynamic look. The rear has also been redone, with a smaller window, straight-cut lights and larger wheel wells.

The only interior shot shows us a modernized dashboard, very attractive-looking red leather seats, a luxurious center console and the same interior arrangement that we have come to expect from Hyundai. Since the model shown is European, it is equipped with a lovely manual transmission, which we obviously won’t see here.

We don’t know yet which engine will sit under the Tucson’s hood; a lot of mills are available on the other side of the Atlantic, from a naturally-aspirated, 135-horsepower 1.6 litre to a 276-horsepower turbocharged powerplant. There is also a wide array of diesels.

More details will be available at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which opens its doors on March 3rd.
