Canadians turn to the Toyota Tundra full-size pick-up truck for performance and utility when they need to get the job done.  For 2009, Toyota Canada offers sixteen North American designed and built Tundra models in a variety of trim levels, including two new i-FORCE Editions, ensuring there’s a work-ready pick-up for every need.

“Regardless of whether Canadians need a cargo bed big enough to haul sheet material, or a cab that can transport an entire work crew in comfort, there’s a Tundra 4x4 that’s ready to work as hard as they are,” explained Warren Orton, Director of Toyota Canada Inc. “A choice of 4x2 or 4x4 models, engine, cab and bed sizes and trim levels means Canadians have plenty of options when building the perfect, never quit addition to their crew. What’s more, Canadian drivers can push their Tundra full-size pick-up with confidence, knowing that their pick-up draws its DNA from Toyota’s decades of experience in building legendary trucks that have proven themselves in the most demanding work conditions around the world.”

Canadians can choose from a 4.7L V8, or the rugged capability of Tundra’s 5.7L V8. Those who need to move plywood or drywall will love the long bed’s ability to absorb 4x8 sheet stock, and transporting a crew has never been easier with cabs that seat 3, 5 or 6 people. Meanwhile, payload and towing capabilities of up to 1,900 lbs and 10,500 lbs respectively mean that with a Tundra there’s no need to leave anything behind.

What’s more, every 2009 Tundra is generously equipped with a suite of standard features that make this a capable member of any team. These include audio systems featuring CD players and an input jack for portable music players; dual zone air conditioning with a cabin air filter; a tilting steering column; cruise control; accessory power outlets; power remote heated exterior mirrors; a Class IV weight distribution trailer hitch with four- and seven-pin wiring harness and electronic trailer brake control connector; a locking, removable tailgate with Toyota’s easy lower and lift system; and bedrail and cargo bed tie downs.

New available i-Force ST editions add performance and rugged style to the Tundra 4x4 Regular Cab 5.7-litre and the 4x4 Double Cab 5.7-litre.  These packages include 20-inch tires and aluminum wheels, plus a TRD dual exhaust system on the Regular Cab and Chrome Exhaust Tip on the Double Cab, front and rear clearance sonar, aluminum sport pedals, an exclusive dash design, and more.  The i-Force ST Editions gives Tundra drivers added performance, an exclusive design and special features that stand out on and off-road.
