RAM Unveils The Texas Ranger

We all know that everything is bigger in Texas, whether it's trucks, farms or steaks. Even the police are larger than life; the Texas Rangers, a police unit capable of operating throughout the whole state, are known across the United States. They are also the country’s oldest police force, having been created in 1823. Their story is so filled with legends (one of their members even killed Bonnie and Clyde) that it inspired a TV show starring Chuck Norris.

To celebrate their partnership with the Texas Rangers, RAM unveiled a special edition of their 1500. The RAM Texas Ranger is based on the Longhorn, but if differs by its unique stitching on the seats, walnut trim, brown leather and a sheriff's star on the center console. The doors are fitted with Mexican pesos, and there is a safe underneath the center console… just in case.

For now, RAM hasn’t decided if they will build this model, stating that if the demand was there, they would think about it. I’m pretty sure that there are more than a few Texans lining up to sign a check for one of these trucks!
