Here Is The 2016 Kia Optima

A few days before the official unveiling of the 2016 Kia Optima, we received the very first shot showing what it really looks like (no more teasers!).

As we expected, the styling is inspired by the SPORTSPACE concept which we saw a few months ago. While the production sedan isn’t as pretty as the concept was (that would have been a tall order), we recognize the headlights and the bumper from said concept. The front grille is surrounded by chrome, and adopts the brand’s design language.

We still don’t know much about the car’s technical specifications, however; we know that it will offer a wide variety of engines (a naturally-aspirated four-cylinder will probably equip the base models, while a turbocharged unit is rumoured to be found under the hood of the more equipped models, and Kia tells us that the interior will be of a better quality. Judging by what they have accustomed us to, we don’t doubt it. We can also expect a station wagon version to be announced later this year.

We still have to wait a few days before learning everything there is to know about this car, as the official presentation is scheduled for April 1st.
