Rezvani Will Unleash The Beast

You’ll be excused to have never heard of Rezvani and their Beast, a Californian supercar based on the minimalist Ariel Atom. The vehicle was announced last year without much press, but like a lot of start-ups who have never produced a car before, we waited for a finished product before talking about them.

It seems the Beast wasn’t just a pipe dream; it will be unveiled in May.

Based on the frame of the already quick Ariel Atom, we can expect the Beast’s performance to be staggering; with a weight of only 666 kg (nice number for something called the Beast, right?) and a choice between a turbocharged 2-litre or a supercharged 2.4-litre four cylinder engine, ridiculous acceleration numbers come standard. The manufacturer says that two versions will be available at launch: a 300-horsepower model that can cover the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and a 500-horsepower variant which subtracts 0.2 seconds from that number.

We already eagerly await the official unveiling.
