Want To Have The Fastest Cadillac CTS-V On The Block?
Once again, Texas tuner Hennessey pushes the boundaries of power. After learning that the next high-performance Cadillac (the CTS-V) would have 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, Hennessey thought the car could use a little more power in order to really be considered a sport sedan. The car might not have been launched yet, but that didn’t stop Hennessey from offering their HPE1000 modification programme.
First of all, the supercharger which comes standard with the CTS-V will be replaced by a pair of turbos. The engine's internals are replaced with forged parts, fuel delivery is optimized, the intercooler is replaced with a larger unit and the exhaust is capable of expelling much more than before. This means the HPE1000 will generate an astonishing 1,000 horsepower. In case this is too much for you, you can also order one with only 750-800 horsepower.
With so much power, the HPE1000 could theoretically hit 386 km/h, which would make it one of the fastest sedans on the market.
Only 24 units will be made this year (which is logical since the car won’t be launched until this summer).
