What Do Finland, Electricity And Performance Have In Common?

The Toroidion 1MW. This unique vehicle, which was presented at Top Marques Monaco, takes all these elements and fuses them together. It was designed, engineered and built in Finland, and it is also entirely powered by electricity. And according to its designers, it’s also blisteringly fast.

While it has a retro styling, the 1MW is quite modern: if we are to believe the official specs, it has more than a megawatt of power, which equates to 1341 horsepower! While there is no technical data yet, Toroidion mentions they want to develop a battery swap program. If they succeed, they then plan to use this technology to race at the 24 hours of Le Mans. With so much power and a way to change batteries, the 1MW could be a very serious contender.

For now, the car isn’t for sale, and the brand has no plan to sell it in the near future. Toroidion wants to run some tests before they will talk about production.
