All-Season Tire Evaluations - 2015 Edition

Here’s how we rated all-season performance tires developed specifically for cars, sedans and crossovers.

These tires have sporty tread designs and are versatile in all seasons. They offer average durability and are not recommended in deep snow or at temperatures below -7 °C. The tread blocks tend to be a little more open than those of summer performance tires, which helps evacuate water more efficiently.

Higher overall marks indicate more versatile tires. These are dynamic in all-season and summer conditions. However, these tires do not perform as well as winter tires on ice and deep snow.

The table below summarizes the comparison of all-season performance tires for cars.
