The Super Auto Show: Music, Entertainment, Celebration And Food!

Mont-Saint-Hilaire, April 24, 2015 — On September 12, immerse yourself in the automobile world at Mirabel’s ICAR Circuit. The Car Guide will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its celebrated French-language publication, Le Guide de l’auto.

We’re thrilled to announce that several big names have confirmed their participation in the event, including: Jacques Duval, founder of The Car Guide, Michel Barrette, spokesperson for Occasion en Or, Bertrand Godin, international race car driver, Gabriel Gélinas, coauthor of Le Guide de l’auto and automobile journalist for TVA, LCN and Argent, and Denis Duquet, celebrated automobile journalist and coauthor of Le Guide de l’auto. They’ll act as guest judges assisting the seven lead judges for the Elegance Contest, who are: Gilbert Bureau, founding president of VAW, Michel Aubin, head judge of American cars, Dominique Fortier, Italian car judge, Stéphane Palumbo assisted by Richard Boudrias, French car judge, Gilbert Denis, French car judge, and Pierre-André Ouimet assisted by Paul Delaney, English car judge.

There will be a book-signing session with Gabriel Gélinas, Denis Duquet, Marc Lachapelle, Alain Morin and Sylvain Raymond. They all look forward to meeting with the public, answering your questions and, of course, talking about their favourite subject—cars!

We’re also pleased to welcome Steven Raichlen, a well-known BBQ expert. He’ll be hosting a 60-minute workshop under the big top. His menu will feature real man food cooked on the grille. When the workshop ends, the public will have the chance to chat with Raichlen while sampling his creations.

Early-bird tickets are available for $16 on the event website (www.superautoshow.ca/en/tickets/). A portion of the proceeds will go to the MADC Foundation, which helps kids stay in school.
