Continental Tire has been selected as an original equipment supplier for the 2010 model Mercedes-Benz GLK to be sold in the U.S. market.  Continental will provide its Conti4x4Contact™ in size 235/50R19 99H for this vehicle.

A premium luxury performance SUV tire, the Conti4x4Contact emphasizes a superb ride with crisp handling and the benefit of all-season traction and capability.

The newly-styled GLK features the impressive design and safety technology incorporated in a Mercedes-Benz, such as the brake assist (BAS) technology which shortens braking distances, and dynamic handling control systems such as ESP, ASR and 4ETS guarantee higher levels of safety and performance.

A spokesperson for Continental Tire said, “We are excited to achieve a technical approval for this vehicle which demonstrates again our technical ability to meet the extremely demanding requirements set by Mercedes-Benz and is a further continuation of the long developmental history of our two companies.”
