Mercedes-Benz just introduced the successor to the GLK in Stuttgart, during a world premiere held at the Hugo Boss headquarters.

It is called the GLC, and the first model that will arrive in Canada this fall will be the GLC 300 4MATIC, powered by a 2.0-litre, 241-horsepower inline four. It will also feature a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission with five drive modes.

The GLC 300 will be followed at a later date (date to be confirmed) by the GLC 250d diesel, as well as the GLC 350e plug-in hybrid.

The GLC 350e will be the first plug-in hybrid 4MATIC model in the Mercedes-Benz line up.

We will provide more information very soon, so stay tuned.
