Bentley Flying Spur Beluga: The Luxurious Whale

As a general rule of thumb, people who buy a Bentley Flying Spur don’t get them for their high-performance or top speed (which is surprising, because the Speed variants are hugely successful). Those who choose this sedan do so for its style and comfort.

The British manufacturer just launched a Beluga Edition Flying Spur, a limited version aimed at those who want to differentiate their cars from the mass of Flying Spurs currently on the street.

The car comes standard with 20-inch wheels, a different grille and a body-coloured lower bumper. Inside, there are piano black accents, contrasting stitching, an even plusher carpet and shift paddles made of knurled aluminium.

Only available with the V8, the Beluga goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, which isn’t bad for a whale this big.

In the press release, the manufacturer mentions that the sedan can go up to 804 km on a single tank of fuel (useful for migrating), which makes it sound efficient. But then you look at the spec sheet and realize it has a 90L fuel tank… so it may not be the most fuel-efficient vehicle you’ll ever see.
