Is Red Bull Working On A Road Car?

When energy drink giant Red Bull stated that they intended to purchase a Formula 1 team, lots of people rolled their eyes. How could a company that had pretty much no prior experience in racing challenge the likes of Ferrari and McLaren?

Red Bull Racing’s victories in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 convinced the naysayers to let the results speak from themselves.

This is why, when we heard rumours that Red Bull was working on a road car, we were more than intrigued. According to the rumours, Red Bull is currently hard at work developing a supercar that would be capable of beating the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1. It seems that Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey has already started sketching a body, and a partner has arisen: Aston Martin (even though we thought that Infiniti would be part of the project, since they heavily sponsor the Formula 1 racing effort).

According to various sources, Red Bull and Aston Martin want to keep their vehicles separate; this means we probably won’t see a Vanquish painted like an energy drink can!
