Mazda's $500 Apps

A quick look through your smartphone's app store is enough to discover a lot of interesting stuff: most of the apps available are free, while the rest cost one or two dollars.

Mazda just launched their very own: it can do various things like remote-start your car, activate the A/C, unlock the doors or work in conjunction with the GPS to help you find your vehicle.

The app currently works with the Mazda6 and CX-5, and the manufacturer will eventually add other models.

However, good things don’t come cheap. The app is listed at $500 USD, and on top of that, there is a $65 USD yearly fee.
