EV aficionados’ website InsideEVs.com just received some insider’s information about one of the most awaited SUVs of the year; they managed to obtain more information about the Tesla Model X.

(Please note that all prices are in US dollars)

The lucky owners of some of the first Model X Signature models recently had the opportunity to visit a special website that allowed them to configure their vehicle.

Among the few shots taken by InsideEVs, we can spot some useful information; for example, we now know that the Model X Signature will use a 90 kWh battery, should be able to cover 386 km on a single charge and will get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The SUV will feature two electric motors; the front one makes 259 horsepower while the rear is good for 503 ponies. This enables it to eventually hit a top speed of 250 km/h.

There are only a few available options: a towing kit ($750) enables the Model X to tow up to 2,268 kilos, the Ludicrous package ($10,000) gives the truck the ability to scoot to 100 km/h from a standstill in 3.2 seconds and a cold climate package ($1000), which adds heated seats for the second and third rows as well as a heated steering wheel, heated washer nozzles and wiper blade defrosters.

For the top-of-the-line version (the Signature that we see above), we can expect a price of around $132,000; Tesla mentioned earlier that the base model should cost around $25,000 less.
