2016 Lexus RX 350 And RX 450h: We’re Driving Them This Week
After practically creating the luxury SUV category when it arrived on the market in 1997, the Lexus RX has been coasting during the last few years.
So, the time has come for Toyota’s luxury division to redesign its RX. Unveiled at the New York Auto Show last April, the RX has been restyled while staying true to Lexus’ philosophy. Its cabin has also been thoroughly reworked.

Under the hood, the changes aren’t as significant. The RX 350’s 3.5-litre V6 is back, although its output has been increased to 300 horsepower. The hybrid version, called the RX 450h, will also return.
Seeing a vehicle at an auto show is great, but getting to drive it is much better. That’s what we’ll be doing this week in Portland, Oregon. Our driving impressions of the new 2016 Lexus RX will be posted in a few days.
In the meantime, check out our Lexus RX section.
