Here's What The Volvo V90 Might Look Like

Once again, we discover a new model thanks to some spy shots. This time however, instead of seeing a prototype being tested on the open road, it’s a scale model that was found by our intrepid photographers!

We already knew that Volvo was about to launch a full-size luxury sedan, the S90. Size-wise, it should be a direct competitor to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Jaguar XF and BMW 5 Series. We saw the first shots of the Swedish sedan via a scale model spy shot too, by the way. Since all its rivals offer wagon versions, and since Volvo has a long tradition of upstanding wagons, it was only logical that the automaker would offer a 5-door variant.

By looking at the toy car in the above pictures, we can see that it shares its lines with the Estate concept. The front is obviously based on the S90 sedan, and the taillights remind us of the outgoing XC90. We also spot a double sunroof and a beige interior.

If all goes well, the S90 should be officially unveiled shortly; no doubt the V90 will follow.

Now we just have to wait and see if Volvo will offer it here…
