Chevrolet Launches Red Line Series For SEMA
During SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Association, which is the biggest exposition of parts, tuners and modified vehicles on the planet), more than one automaker brings unique vehicles to show people what their parts division can do.
Chevrolet usually brings vehicle to this show, and 2015 will be no exception, since they will have no less than 5 vehicles on display. The difference compared to last year is that all their vehicles will be built under the same theme; here is the Red Line series (a name they took from one of GM’s dead division, Saturn).

- First of all, the show’s queen will be Camaro Red Line Series Concept. It features 20-inch wheels, a special air intake, larger brakes and a lowered suspension. Style-wise, it receives black logos, a grille featuring red accents, smoked-out taillights and special door sill plates.
- The next car is the Malibu Red Line Series Concept. Since the midsize sedan isn’t exactly built for speed, it features only cosmetic upgrades like a spoiler, black taillights, a lowered suspension and 19-inch wheels.
- Pickup trucks will also be represented. The Silverado 1500 Red Line Series Concept is equipped with Z71 graphics, 22-inch wheels, a black exhaust tip (fitted at the end of an aftermarket exhaust), running boards, a GearOn latching system in the box, red-painted tow hooks, a set of Brembo front brakes and a cold air intake system.
- The Colorado Red Line Series Concept comes with 18-inch wheels shod in Goodyear Wrangler tires, a unique exhaust and an aftermarket air intake, as well as larger fenders and a system to attach your loads.
- There is also a Trax Red Line Series Concept, which sports black taillights, a lowered suspension, 18-inch wheels and a few red accents.
Finally, Chevrolet will show a Spark RS. This subcompact will have a unique carbon fibre kit, 17-inch wheels, a sport suspension and graphics showing-off its sporty nature. If this car is well-received by showgoers, Chevrolet might decide to roll out a production-version of the Spark RS…
