2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC: We’re Driving It This Week
You’re certainly aware by now that Mercedes-Benz has renamed its SUV line-up using a formula simular to the one the company uses for its automobiles. It’s easy to distinguish the B-Class from C-Class from the E-Class, and so on. Think of the 2016 GLC as the C-Class of Mercedes’ SUVs. In case you weren’t paying attention, the GLC was formerly known as the GLK.
Well, the GLC didn’t just get a new name, it has also been redesigned. This makeover has smoothed the GLK’s familiar angular lines into a smoother, perhaps more generic silhouette. It has also grown a bit, with more interior space.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre, 241-horsepower turbocharged four cylinder, which is coupled to a nine-speed automatic. Of course, because Canada experiences delightfully long winters, it will be available only with 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
