The Subaru Impreza Concept Is In Montreal
While the Subaru Impreza is a competitive compact, it's overdue for a replacement; ever since its launch in 2011, it has remained largely unchanged. In an effort to intrigue us, Subaru decided to show its Impreza 5-Door Concept at the Montreal Auto Show.
This isn't a new tactic; Subaru has a habit of coming with a car that suspiciously looks like a production model, call it a concept and gauge the public's interest; if they need to make some last minute changes, it is much easier to do.
Looking decidedly more futuristic, the Impreza Concept comes with LED-accentuated headlights, and sports more fluid, yet less aggressive lines.
We know that this Impreza will have AWD, but we're not sure of what's under the hood yet. However, Subaru mentions that it will be a new powertrain.
