Mustang Project: $25,550 donated to charity, Mr. Denis Arpin wins the car!

A few hours before the 2016 Montreal International Auto Show came to a close, LC Media president and le Guide de l’auto editor Jean Lemieux reached into the trunk of our beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang to pull out a ticket on which was printed the name of the car’s new owner.

Congratulations to Mr. Denis Arpin, who unfortunately couldn’t be reached on the phone after his name was drawn to receive the good news.

Aside from Mr. Arpin’s win, the Mustang project was above all created to encourage automotive-related careers, the car having been restored from a horrible condition by students.

The profits collected from the contest, which amount to $25,550, have been donated to the Montreal Auto Dealers Corporation Foundation, the Foundation de lutte au décrochage scolaire (FLDS) in Montreal – contributing to the school perseverance –, the Starlight Foundation and the Mobilys Foundation, among others.

Thank you to everyone who participated and, at the same time, helped make the world a better place.
