Ferrari F60 America: First One Delivered, Only Nine More To Go

Published on January 26, 2016 in News by Michel Deslauriers

Last weekend at the 25th annual Palm Beach Cavallino Classic show, the Italian automaker delivered the first Ferrari F60 America to its new owner.

And the very last delivery of the F60 shouldn’t take too long, because Ferrari is only building 10 copies of this fabulous sports car, and they have already been sold for more than a year now at a price of $3.2 million USD each. It pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the company doing business in America, and better way to celebrate this milestone by producing such an expensive and exclusive beast.

The Ferrari F60 America is based on the F12berlinetta, but gets unique body panels and is stripped of its roof, replaced by a power-operated soft top and carbon-fibre trimmed roll bars. The leather-lined cockpit is black on the passenger side and red on the driver side, highlighted with red white and blue pinstriping.

The naturally aspirated, 6.3-litre V12 engine under the hood of the F60 America produces 740 horsepower, and is matched to a dual-clutch automated gearbox.
