Updates For The 2017 Bentley Mulsanne

Even though the Bentley Mulsanne is unbelievably comfortable and luxurious, some people just can’t get past than the big sedan’s styling; its big round headlights and split grille may have convinced some buyers to go check out its biggest competitor, the Rolls-Royce Phantom…

Since the car was pretty much unchanged since 2010, Bentley will update some details for 2017. This new Mulsanne will be showcased at the Geneva Auto Show.

Compared to the outgoing version, the Mulsanne features a new grille with vertical laths and a new lower bumper. If you look closely, you may also spot a B-shaped vent on the lower part of the front fenders. The rear is pretty much similar, but it sports the shape of a B in the taillight clusters.

And just in case you thought the regular Mulsanne wasn’t roomy enough, Bentley now offers an extended-wheelbase variant. With 25 centimetres of extra legroom, it is intended to please customers that like to stretch out their legs and relax.

There are also a few other upgrades, like recalibrated suspensions and steering box as well as a sport mode for the transmission… In case your chauffeur has a heavy right foot.
