Honda Civic Hatchback Prototype: Sporty and Practical for Geneva

Published on March 1, 2016 in Geneva by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

In Canada, we currently get two body styles for the Honda Civic: a sedan and a coupe. In Europe, however, there are a lot more choices; you can get a hatchback, or even a wagon.

With the new generation of the Civic that was recently unveiled, it was now time to see the Civic Hatchback Prototype.

Now, we can immediately see that this exact car won’t be produced, as it features central exhausts as well as green fog lights and brake calipers.

However, it’s pretty easy to see the lines of the production hatchback Civic underneath this makeup; it is interesting to see that the profile hasn’t changed much. The rear of the vehicle is obviously different, but the overall shape stays the same.

Europe will get the hatchback Civic at the start of next year, and will likely arrive in Canada soon thereafter.
