Tesla Model 3: 300 000 Pre-Orders So Far
Tesla announced yesterday that they now had 276 000 pre-orders for their upcoming Model 3 sedan.
At this rate, the Californian manufacturer will probably hit 300 000 pre-orders soon.

Smaller than a Model S, Tesla claims the Model 3 can seat five adults comfortably thanks to the absence of a front-mounted engine, which frees up quite a bit of space.
All the expected versions of the new EV will be compatible with the company's Supercharger systems and will include automated pilot technologies.

Elon Musk confirmed that the car will have a range of at least 215 miles (344 km), and the base model should accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than six seconds.
The entry price has been confirmed at USD$35,000.
So is this a good or a bad thing? Chevrolet announced that they would also sell an affordable small electric car, the Bolt. It will be sold for USD$30,000 before government credits and should have a range of up to 320 km.
However, Tesla's Model 3 has a secret weapon: it packs more advanced technologies and higher build quality… or so we’re told.
The first Model 3 should be delivered to its owner at the end of 2017.
