The 2016 Bentley Continental GT Speed Is Even Faster Now

Bentley just introduced the 2016 edition of the Continental GT Speed as well as a new version, the Black Edition.

The fastest Bentley ever produced has a top speed of 331 km/h. it hits 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.1 seconds, which is as fast as a Porsche Cayman GT4. This added burst of speed comes from a few tweaks under the hood. The car now packs 642 metric horsepower, which is 7 hp more than last year’s version. Torque is also up by 15 pound-feet for a total of 620. Even better: all this torque is available between 2 000 and 5 000 r/min, which makes the car even faster.

Every Continental GT Speed takes 110 hours to build by hand. Every 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine is assembled over the course of 12 and a half hours by 30 specialists. The GT Speed is available right now, and the first units should arrive during the summer of 2016.

Black Edition

Available in coupe and convertible form, this model features black 21-inch alloy wheels. For added customization, the owner will be able to select the colour of some interior and aerodynamic elements.
