To celebrate the 520 000 units of the Evoque sold across the globe, Land Rover is introducing a new special-edition version called the Ember Limited Edition. It will be available during the first three months of summer.

The Ember Limited Edition gets a black paint job with a red-painted roof as well as red accenting on the front and rear bumpers. The vehicle’s badging is unique, since the “Range Rover” logo up front is painted black, while the “Evoque” logo at the rear is black and silver. Inside, the black and red theme carries on.

In addition to this limited-edition model, Land Rover is adding a new infotainment system with 10.2-inch touchscreen. The latter feels like a digital tablet with its configurable menus, a Street View option and zoom-in capability on certain elements. The smartphone-like system boasts a screen resolution of 1280x542 pixels, an 80-percent increase compared to the old system and its eight-inch screen.

In the Halewood assembly plant in the UK, where the Evoque is built, a new vehicle can roll off the line every 80 seconds.
