Say Hi to the Porsche Cayenne Platinum
While the 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman was unveiled a few days ago at the Beijing Auto Show, not everybody needs a sports car. Consumers can turn to the Cayenne SUV, and if someone wants one that's even more exclusive, Porsche just announced a Platinum version of its biggest vehicle.
This new edition—which will arrive later this year—will add specific equipment to either the standard or e-hybrid Cayenne. Among those upgrades are 20-inch RS Spyder wheels, bi-xenon headlights with Porsche’s dynamic light System (PDLS) which enables the lights to follow the road when the diver turns the steering wheel, mirrors with auto-tinting glass and a rear window tint job.

Inside, the seats are electrically adjustable in eight different directions, and their centre portion is covered in Alcantara. This variant of the Cayenne also gets the Power Steering Plus system, which adapts assist effort based on the vehicle’s speed.
A special-edition Porsche wouldn’t be a real vehicle for Stuttgart without the requisite door mouldings engraved with the Platinum badge and a high-quality Bose sound system.
