This week, The Car Guide is heading to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Clarington, Ontario in order to get a preview of Porsche’s new nationwide drive event called the 911 Grand Tour.

The objective of this event is to help potential buyers discover the 2017 Porsche 911 lineup as well as getting some wheel time with a bunch of different variations of the iconic sports car. As you may have already read on The Car Guide, the base versions of the 911 are now equipped with turbocharged engines, and the Turbo editions have been revised as well.

Actually, there are no less than 25 variations of the 911 offered on the Canadian market, and that includes the new Black Editions, the new 911 R and the track-ready 911 GT3. Obviously, the car is available in Coupe, Targa and Cabriolet body styles, with either rear- or all-wheel drivetrains, too.

It will be a hot and fun day, but also an informative one as we’ll get to drive a variety of 911s back to back. Stay tuned for our full report and plenty of pictures.
