Bumblebee's New Look
In the last few years, the return of the Transformers series brought back the big robots and surreal vehicular battles on the forefront. Directed by Michael Bay, this series now has four movies under its belt, and three others are planned.
For its latest iteration, the Autobot Bumblebee changed its automotive disguise. While the original Transformer was a cute little yellow VW Beetle, it had to be modified to fit into GM’s product placement strategy, and became a Chevrolet Camaro.
For the next movie, Bumblebee will become a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, which you can see in the above picture. The car differs from the stock vehicle with the addition of esthetic gimmicks like a full body kit, huge wheels and a spoiler that wouldn’t look out of place on an airplane…
You may not like the styling, but the kids will… and at the end of the day, they are the ones who will convince you to go to the movies.
Transformers: The Last Knight will premiere on June 23, 2017.
