Nissan Juke-R now makes 600 horsepower

Say what you will about the design of the Nissan Juke, but it was hard not to smile at the thought of the then-485-horsepower super CUV.

With the fifth anniversary of the curious little crossover upon us, however, Nissan decided to up the ante with this: The 600-horsepower Juke-R 2.0.

Styling changes to the Juke-R 2.0 are subtle, with the carbon fibre front bumper featuring cooling inlets that double in size, while the rear bumper gets new exhaust cowlings.

Elsewhere on the outside, the new Juke-R borrows its hood, front fenders, headlights and taillights from the 2015 model year Juke.

The biggest change is the Juke-R's 115-horsepower jump, with the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 under the hood making the same 600 horsepower as the Nissan GT-R it is borrowed from.
