Limited run of BMW Performance Edition cars set for Canada

BMW has announced a limited production run of M235i, 335i, and 435i M Performance Edition vehicles that will be made available in Canada "due to overwhelming demand."

A total of 450 cars will be available in Canada—50 M235i coupes, 200 335i sedans and 200 435i coupes—and will decked out with all the goodies M Performance Edition cars are known for, including a full aerodynamics kit, black grilles and M Performance exhaust kits.

In addition, the 3- and 4 Series cars come equipped with a BMW M Performance power kit that features unique engine tuning and an M Performance air intake system.

The 2 Series cars will ride on unique 19-inch wheels, while the larger 3- and 4 Series cars will sport 20-inch alloys.

Only available with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, the M235i Performance Edition carries a sticker price of $59,900.

The 3-Series Performance Edition cars are 335i xDrive models equipped with either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions, and are priced at $65,900, while the 4-Series cars are available as rear-wheel drive or xDrive all-wheel drive models, mated to the choice of six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearboxes.

Rear-wheel drive cars are priced at $69,900, while xDrive cars come in at $71,900.
