Ford track-tested GT race car 3 weeks before unveil

Long before Ford confirmed it was returning to Le Mans with the Ontario-built GT supercar, the automaker conducted track testing—and nobody knew about it.

As this new video released by Ford Performance illustrates, it took to the track some three weeks before the race-prepped car was officially unveiled for some testing.

Most impressive, aside from the wonderful noise the GT racer makes, is that not a single spy shot made it to the public.

In today's connected world, that Ford was able to keep the GT a secret is truly something to behold.
