The newest addition to the Buick lineup, the Buick Envision, will feature the brand's first Active Twin Clutch all-wheel-drive system when it arrives in showrooms in 2016.

Launched exclusively in China earlier this year, the Buick Envision is set to go on sale in North America some time next year, slotting into the automaker's crossover lineup between the smaller Encore and the larger Enclave.

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, the Envision makes 252 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, and puts power to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.

The five-seater offers tri-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, and heated front and rear seats as standard equipment, with available cooled front seats.

It also features a standard Bose sound system, active noise cancellation, and IntelliLink with an eight-inch colour touchscreen, and available OnStar with 4G LTE and built in WiFi, and an available panoramic power sunroof.
