2017 Buick Encore gets handsome facelift

Published on April 6, 2016 in News by Brad Diamond

The Buick Encore is following in the footsteps of its twin compact crossover, the Chevrolet Trax, with a mid-cycle refresh that echoes the looks of the 2017 LaCrosse sedan.

Like the Trax, which has been made over for the 2017 model year, the 2017 Encore gets a more familial look based on the design of the Buick Avenir Concept unveiled last year.

Inside, the Encore gets new dashboard and centre stack designs, highlighted by a frameless eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while push-button start has been added.

It's set to go on sale this fall.

Buick is also bringing its Envision midsize crossover to North America this year.
