The Very Last Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Will Benefit Charity

Mitsubishi is really getting their money’s worth out of the Lancer Evolution. At the end of 2015, the very first Final Edition unit to roll off the assembly line was auctioned to benefit the Mutiple Sclerosis Society in the United States.

Mitsubishi is now auctioning the LAST Evolution Final Edition built (number 1600). This one will also benefit a good cause. Instead of selling it in a regular, physical auction, they will use eBay to reach a broader audience.

Profits will go to a organization that help feeds people in the US.

This is the ultimate Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution: engineers managed to extract 303 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque out of their 2.0-litre MIVEC engine, which are sent to all four wheels through a five-speed (yes, five, like the good old days!) manual transmission. The shocks come from Bilstein, and the springs from Eibach. The brakes are from Brembo, and the wheels are BBS units. This sedan is a tuner’s wet dream.

The car is now up for grabs, and the auction closes on September 15.
