A New Mazda CX-5 to be Unveiled in Los Angeles

Published on October 30, 2016 in Los Angeles by Frédérick Boucher-Gaulin

We got a glimpse of Mazda’s upcoming unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It should come as no surprise that it will be a new generation of the CX-5 crossover.

The little vehicle is with us in its current form since the 2013 model year, and is one of the oldest vehicles in the Mazda lineup.

We don’t know more than what is shown here, but it does feature the CX-9’s styling; its front end is squared out, and the sloped roofline reminds us of the large SUV.

Inside, Mazda announces that the vehicle will have higher-quality materials as well as the latest driving aid technologies. Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control system will probably be offered in the vehicle, just like a new generation of engines.

We will know more at the L.A. Auto Show.
