2018 Jaguar E-PACE to be Unveiled Next Month

After releasing the F-PACE, their first performance-oriented SUV last year, Jaguar is on a roll as it’s getting ready to introduce the smaller-sized E-PACE to the world. The new model’s official unveiling to be streamed online on July 13.

The E-PACE will be equipped with all-wheel drive as standard, and the brand’s usual range of powertrains should be offered as well. That includes the Ingenium turbo-diesel, 2.0-litre four (180 horsepower, 318 lb.-ft. of torque), the Ingenium gasoline turbo 2.0-litre four (247 hp) and the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 (340 hp).

No other technical details have been revealed so far, although for now, we can speculate that Jaguar’s new small SUV will share the Range Rover Evoque’s platform, which rides on a 2660-millimetre wheelbase.

However, the base price for Canada has already been set at $42,700 before freight and delivery charges. The 2018 Jaguar E-PACE should be in sale early next year, before the fully electric Jaguar I-PACE hits the market as well.
