BMW Vision iNEXT: Reveal of the Tesla Model 3 Challenger
The Car Guide is on its way to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City for a reveal of the BMW iNEXT concept car, at an event called “The BMW Vision iNEXT World Flight,” which will take place inside a Boeing 777F Lufthansa Cargo jet airplane. According to BMW, the iNEXT will be fully electric, fully connected and highly automated. Klaus Frohlich, Member of the board at BMW AG, and Adrian Van Hooydonk, BMW Group Vice President of Design, will be on hand to discuss the iNEXT. The presentation of the concept car will take place inside the Boeing 777F Cargo jet and, according the invitation we received, “Preparations for the presentation will require involve laying more than 7.5 kilometres of wiring, 78,000 LEDs in 165 video LED modules and ten 13,000 ANSI lumen projectors will light up a show inside the Boeing that will appeal to all the senses.” Colour us intrigued…
