Schumi's Back!

Yes. It’s true. The seven time F1 champion will be returning to the grid behind the wheel of Maranello’s finest automobile. Having been in the employ of Ferrari since his retirement as an advisor to the team, the decision to once again don the familiar red racing suit came after a devastating head injury suffered by Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa at last weekend’s race. Although expected to recover, Massa will be sitting out the remainder of the 2009 season, with Schumacher filling his position pending his passing of the FIA physical. Given that should be a cakewalk for the seven time champ, you can expect to see Schumi take the grid on August 23 at the European Grand Prix in Valencia.
