2020 Dodge Charger Widebody Finally Unveiled
FCA today put an end to rumours that had been circulating for a while: the Dodge Charger Widebody is coming for 2020.
We already knew the Challenger Widebody, but now this option will also be available with the Scat Pack and SRT Hellcat versions of the four-door muscle car. With the 707-horsepower supercharged V8, the Charger is the mightiest and fastest production sedan in the world.

Riding on 20x11-inch wheels and Pirelli 305/35ZR20 tires, the new Dodge Charger Widebody models are 3.5 inches wider than the standard car.
The Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody’s 707 ponies and 650 pound-feet of torque are all sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Top speed is rated at 315 km/h, while 0-96 km/h sprints are completed in just 3.6 seconds.
Other highlights include six-piston Brembo brakes up front and a Bilstein-tuned suspension that adapts to the drive mode (road, track or drag).
As for the Dodge Charger Scat Pack Widebody, it features a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 producing 485 horsepower.
The middle of the dashboard houses an 8.4-inch display with FCA’s Uconnect infotainment system. The latter allows drivers to adjust various settings such as throttle response, gear ratios, steering precision and suspension calibration.
Pricing for the Canadian market has yet to be disclosed. Dealers will accept orders starting this fall and deliveries will begin in early 2020.
