The Bandimere Speedway in Colorado was recently the scene of a world record attempt. A total of 170 cars gathered there with the goal of setting a new mark for the highest number of vehicles doing a burnout at the same time.

As reported by Carbuzz, a local resident said she could smell burnt rubber from miles away.

The previous record for the largest simultaneous tire burnout was achieved by 126 cars at the beginning of this year in Australia.

The “Bandimere 170” will now take a spot in the Guinness Book Of World Records.

In the short clip below, you can see the cars in action with clouds of smoke becoming bigger and bigger.
