Bless Shelby for this 755-hp Ford F-150 Super Snake Sport

Shelby American, which is based in Las Vegas not too far from the SEMA Show, came to this year’s edition with an “unrivaled king of the road F-150 and a nightmare for any other truck."

Meet the Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 Concept.

The company says it listened to fans who wanted a high-performance, two-door truck in the spirit of 1960s muscle cars, with something more explosive under the hood than the current F-150 Raptor’s 450-horsepower EcoBoost V6.

The result is a supercharged V8 that makes its presence felt from miles away with 755 horsepower—just five less than the almighty Mustang Shelby GT500—and a throbbing Borla exhaust system.

We don’t know exactly how fast this thing is—could it be faster than the Roush Nitemare F-150?—but it has no problem brushing off speed with new six-piston front brakes.

A Shelby-specific suspension lowers the truck and performance tires wrap around custom 22-inch aluminum wheels to give it proper street cred. Styling is also enhanced with a massive front bumper, a redesigned grille and air intakes, a Super Snake hood, black racing stripes and more.

As for the cabin, it is naturally appointed with Shelby Super Snake Sport seats, floor mats and Shelby gauges, not to mention various carbon fibre trim elements.

The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 Concept will be produced if there is enough interest from enthusiasts. If not, we’ll continue to wait for the rumoured F-150 Raptor powered by the GT500’s fearsome new V8.
