“Built to Serve” Ram Trucks Honour the Military and Veterans

Announced last November with a first limited series of models, Ram’s “Built to Serve Edition” honours active and retired members of the military. The second installment begins production this month.

While the idea originates from the U.S., unsurprisingly, FCA has decided to make it available to Canadian customers, as well.

Limited to a total of 2,000 units, the latest “Built to Serve Edition” offers a choice of Ceramic Grey and Patriot Blue exterior colours, both never seen on a Ram truck before. The grille and surround, bumpers, headlight bezels, badges, side steps and four-inch exhaust tips are all black. The 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Technical Grey finish are also unique to this edition.

Inside the cabin, the black theme continues and is offset by Light Ambassador Blue accent stitching. There’s a "Built to Serve" badge on the instrument panel, deeply bolstered cloth and vinyl sport seats, and Black Onyx chrome interior trim.

Customers can select any trim or powertrain they want, by the way.

Furthermore, the package includes a 4x4 Off-Road Group with all-terrain tires, an electronic-locking rear axle, hill-descent control, tow hooks, heavy-duty off-road-calibrated shock absorbers, and skid plates protecting the front suspension, steering gear, fuel tank and transfer case.

Canadian pricing has yet to be announced. Three additional “Built to Serve Editions" are planned and will launch approximately every three months.
