Jeep Gladiator Willys Adds Style, Capability for 2021
Building on the widely popular Wrangler Willys, the Jeep brand is adding a Willys special edition to the Gladiator lineup for 2021—a first for this midsize pickup.
“Gladiator Willys models harken back to the original Jeep lineup while offering an aggressive look and additional increased capability,” said Jim Morrison, head of Jeep in North America.

It starts with a Willys hood decal, heritage 4WD tailgate decal, unique black 17-inch aluminum wheels with gray pad print and a gloss black sport grille. Eight body colours are available including Black, Granite Crystal (our favourite for this edition), Sting Grey, Billet, Firecracker Red, White, Hydro Blue and Snazzberry.
Inside the cabin of the Gladiator Willys, you’ll find all-weather slush mats and the Technology group included as standard. The latter features a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
But none of this matters more than the limited-slip rear differential, Rubicon cab rock rails and upgraded shocks, and 32-inch BFGoodrich KM2 mud terrain tires. There’s also Jeep’s Command-Trac 4x4 part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.
The standard engine for this model is the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 that produces 285 horsepower. The 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 with 442 pound-feet of torque is optionally available.
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys models are on sale now at Canadian Jeep dealers starting at $50,745, plus $1,895 of freight and delivery charges. You should also know that Jeep has slightly revised standard content for each Gladiator trim level for 2021 and added another special edition, called 80th Anniversary.
