Next-gen Honda Civic to be Revealed Nov. 17 in Prototype Form

Can’t wait to see the new and fully redesigned 2022 Honda Civic? The debut of the production model will take place in late spring 2021, but the company will give us a preview very soon.

The eleventh-generation Civic indeed will make an appearance as a prototype on the night of November 17 live on Honda’s Head2Head Twitch channel. The reveal also will feature an exclusive live performance by Grammy-nominated recording artist Cordae.

A short video was posted on YouTube as a teaser:

The Japanese automaker, which has a significant presence in gaming and esports as the exclusive automotive partner of Team Liquid and the Riot Games League of Legends Championship Series, continues to target Millennial and Gen Z consumers, who are a big reason why the Honda Civic is the best-selling car in the country.

And remember that prototypes unveiled by Honda are usually almost production-ready, so the car we’ll see on November 17 should be quite similar to the one that will hit the road next fall.

Honda claims this new Civic will “once again raise the bar for style, performance, safety and advanced technology in the compact car market.” We showed you unofficial renderings of the 2022 Honda Civic a few weeks ago.

Come back on Tuesday night for more details and pictures!
