Watch: An Intimate Look Into RM Sotheby's Private Garage

Want to take a break from pandemic-related boredom? In case you’d like to watch something other than yet another Christmas movie, how about a 10-minute virtual tour of one of the most impressive vintage car collections in the world?

Recently, the team at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles was invited to tour the RM Sotheby's garage to take viewers behind-the-scenes for an in-depth overview of some extremely rare machinery.

Some of the treasures on hand include meticulously restored early Porsches, including a 1951 356 Split Window, and a pair of Shelby Cobras with unique bodies—one made completely of copper and the other fully polished in bronze.

The video also shows a 1961 Alfa Romeo Zagato that was raced extensively throughout Europe 1960, Series 1 Ferrari 250 GT Pininfarina, 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, 1960 Mercedes-Benz 300SL and 1965 Jaguar E-Type. Let’s not forget newer cars like a 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera RS (with Club Sport 2 aero kit) and 2000 BMW M5.

Most of these precious automobiles will soon be auctioned or have just been sold. All of them are in mint condition or something close to that.

Their combined value is hard to determine, but we’re talking about millions of dollars, for sure. Which one do you find the most appealing?
